You can walk up, get a tram, cable car or bus.. Beautiful views across the sea and to Snowdonia. Maybe go up in the evening to watch the sunset over the beautiful Anglesey
Plas Mawr
A really interesting peek at life in Elizabethan times. Take an audio tour around the house of the Wynne family on the main street in Conwy
Get on the number 5 bus towards Bangor and tell the driver to let you off at Abergwyngregin (he will know where you mean if you just say Aber falls!) An hour walk takes you to the highest waterfall in Wales
Please reach us at bookings@tudnotours.com or phone 07751 315700 if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No problem! If you cancel and inform us in advance of the day, then you get a full refund if you have paid in advance.
For each of our tours, we have wet weather adaptations (this is North Wales after all!), so trips will usually go ahead unless conditions are forecast to be dreadful in which case we will cancel (see below). We reserve the right to alter the route if necessary. If a major change to the plans are required eg snow preventing us from going up the mountain passes then you will be advised and offered the chance to cancel.
As a one man operation, there is a chance of illness or that something comes up which means that I need to cancel a trip. You will be notified using the contact number and/or email you have given us and receive a full refund if you have paid in advance.
Not particularly! In each of our tours there are some 15 minute walks to nice viewpoints and in the castles there are quite a few steep, narrow stairs, so you need to be mobile and we recommend comfortable shoes, but we will go at the pace of the slowest, and there is no mountaineering involved!
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate motorised wheelchairs or mobility scooters. If you want to bring a wheelchair, give us a ring and we will do our best to accommodate this, by making room in the boot for it.
A picnic lunch is included in the Best of Anglesey and the Best of Snowdonia tours, but not on any of the others. In Llangollen you have plenty of time to visit a cafe or buy sandwiches from a shop.
No. You will give us your name when you book, so as long as you can remember your name, you are on!
Yes.. We can take card or cash payments on the day, but you MUST phone in advance, even if it is on the morning so that we know to pick you up!
I am afraid that the answer is no.. We do accept guide and therapydogs, however.
For those with pet allergies, the bus is hoovered with a hypo-allergenic device after each trip.
We have one booster seat, but it would be advisable to bring your own.
